No method on contract v1.4.0 returns the contributors the platform holds. AdminService reads sessions, holdings, audit records and policy versions; ContributorService answers only for the contributor calling it.

So nothing on this screen is a roster, and a contributor who has recorded no session cannot appear here at all. What is here instead is the contributor identifiers carried by the rows of one bounded page of the session list.

The workspace and capture-state controls are two of the five filters that page is read with and are sent to the platform. The sort orders the rows that come back and is over this page, not over the catalogue.
